If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Limitation Of Liability
In no event shall I was Married in Fiji be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorised access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
WEDDING AND TRAVEL BOOKINGS
Quotes are valid for 72 hours and do not constitute a booking. Prices are correct at the time of quoting but are subject to change without notice. All prices quoted are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Deposits and Payments
To confirm your wedding with I was Married in Fiji, a non-refundable service fee of $500.00 is payable upon confirmation. Resorts and/or suppliers also attract a 30-50% non-refundable deposit payable upon confirmation - please ask for details on your chosen resort and/or supplier. To confirm your travel arrangements with I was Married in Fiji, a non-refundable deposit of $250.00 per adult is payable upon confirmation. Airfares are non-refundable and must be paid in full on confirmation. Airport departure taxes are included (unless otherwise specified). Seasonal surcharges and blockout dates apply. Payment of the remaining balance for all weddings/suppliers and travel is required 60 days prior to departure, or if booking within 60 days, full payment is required within 72 hours. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, failure to make final payment by the due date will automatically cancel any booking and normal cancellation penalties and fees will apply.
All prices are in AUD and are subject to increase until full payment has been received due to currency fluctuations, tax changes, supplier increases. Please confirm your final payment PRIOR to sending funds. All prices are based on cash payments. A 1.75% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions and will be automatically added to your invoice at the time of payment.
Changes to Bookings and Itineraries
Changes to confirmed arrangements will incur a transaction fee of $55.00 per change and are subject to any supplier charges and conditions.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be advised in writing, with the exception of cancellation due to failure to pay final balance. Once full payment has been received and documents issued, an airline cancellation fee of $250 per person, hotel cancellation fee of $250 per person plus a $30 administration fee per booking will be charged. If cancelling within 14 days of departure 100% cancellation fee will apply to all land arrangements. Additional airline cancellation fees may apply if internal airfares are issued. All cancellation fees are subject to change at the discretion of airlines, hotels and other suppliers. Please ask for details.
Refunds will not be provided where due to illness or personal choice, you do not utilise part of, or all of your chosen package.
Documentation and Passports
It is your responsibility to advise I was Married in Fiji of your full name as it appears in your passport when booking flights. Failure to do so may result in airline re-issue fees being charged. Please read your Invoice and other documents carefully and advise us in writing if there any errors or omissions. No responsibility can be taken if names are not correct as per passport, or dates and other information is not correct. All Passports must have a minimum of 6 months validity from your arrival date back in Australia. For further clarification regarding your passport or visas please contact I was Married in Fiji.
I was Married in Fiji strongly recommends travel insurance and offers several comprehensive options, details of which can be forwarded to you on request. For the latest travel advice, please refer to www.smartraveller.gov.au
The services which I was Married in Fiji provide consist of the booking and management of your Fijian destination wedding, wedding suppliers, travel, accommodation, tours on your behalf. I was Married in Fiji will also issue appropriate tickets and vouchers accordingly. I was Married in Fiji is not a provider of these services. I was Married in Fiji acts as an agent and coordinator on behalf of the service providers.
Items not Included
Unless otherwise specified, the costs of meals, drinks, laundry, tips and gratuities and items of personal nature are not included.
I was Married in Fiji will perform these services with reasonable skill and care. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from acts or defaults outside our control, including (but not limited to) acts of defaults of actual travel, accommodation and suppliers. The Trade Practices Act 1974 applies to services supplied by I was Married in Fiji.
If by any means of any event of force majeure (which shall include terrorism, pandemic or any cause or event outside our control), we shall be delayed in, or prevented from, performing our obligations, then such delay or non-performance shall not be deemed a breach or entitle a damages claim. Our obligations shall be suspended whilst such event of force majeure continues.
